Larger spaces or rooms with many corners and obstacles will require additional time. Professional installers often complete projects faster due to their experience and specialized tools.
Regular sweeping or vacuuming removes dirt and debris that can cause scratches. For deeper cleaning, use a damp mop with a pH-neutral cleaner specifically designed for this type of surface. Avoid harsh chemicals, wax-based products, or steam cleaners, as these can damage the protective layer and void warranties.
Installation over existing surfaces is possible in many cases, provided the subfloor is level, clean, and structurally sound.
